prior to his current role, which he assumed in may 2019, raj served as chief strategy officer for fortive, a $7 billion revenue, publicly traded spin-off of danaher, where he played a key role in designing and executing its separation from danaher. following separation from danaher, he shaped the strategy to transform the traditionally industrial company into a leading industrial technology company, executing m&a deals that built substantial positions in software, recurring revenue services and healthcare, and delivered significant shareholder returns.
raj’s previous experience also includes senior strategy roles at both danaher and te connectivity. he also spent a few years in mckinsey, where he helped corporate and private equity clients with growth strategies and commercial transformations. raj spent his early years as a software entrepreneur.
raj holds an mba from the wharton school, university of pennsylvania, an ms in mechanical engineering from the university of maryland and a b. eng., manufacturing engineering from bangalore university.
